"Professor Miles" was my beloved companion for 13 years. He was a black & silver miniature Schnauzer and had the happiest unique gait. He was named after Miles Davis because his voice was as piercing and loud as a trumpet, and he loved jazz music. I cherish the beautiful memories, where we used to swim in the sea and eat watermelon, our forest walks, and enjoyed many star and sunset watches together. He was such a funny little, stubborn, and intelligent dog who always made everyone laugh. I loved him to bits and took him with me wherever I went and kept him close.

And then, in the year 2021 I developed a tumour on the left side of my thyroid which was completely removed. Few months after my recovery, Mr. Miles began to develop a tumour on the left side of his neck. It was like a relay-race with us passing on batons. He also had surgery, and I cared for him day and night, but in the end, he didn’t make it. He crossed the rainbow bridge in August 2022.

During the 6 months of terminal illness, I supported him with energy healings and he responded astonishingly well. He loved them and I could see an evolution taking place in him.

We had many extraordinary spiritual experiences together and he was an exceptional dog. In many ways, the last few weeks of his life were the most profound and meaningful phase for us. I am very grateful that I was allowed to help him in the way I did. Healing sessions in terminal phases are offered with the intention to create a support structure, to hold the space for a situation to unfold in a most serendipitous and peaceful way.

I felt that it helped him exhale life slowly in his own way. And it was a beautiful process. Few days before he passed, he sat on the terrace looking at the blue sky and enjoying the sun. He then gazed at me, and there was Grace in his eyes. This diamond white light of pure, benevolent, and eternal love was shining through him.

I am forever grateful for our journey together and this experience inspired me to offer free healing sessions for pets which I have been offering to friends and clients.
